| Special Features/Highlights: | The City of Council Bluffs does not operate public transit service directly. Fixed route services are purchased from Metro, the Transit Authority of the City of Omaha, Neb. Metro operates two fixed routes through Council Bluffs, with connections to downtown Omaha where transfers are available to other Metro buses. All equipment is owned by Metro. Paratransit service is purchased from Southwest Iowa Transit Agency (SWITA). To obtain an application for paratransit service call 712-328-4634. |
